Individual therapy is a space that is entirely yours. It is a place to slow down, be heard without judgement, and make sense of what you are going through, whatever it may be.
Some people come with a clear problem they want to solve. Others simply feel stuck, overwhelmed or unlike themselves. Both are good reasons to start.
Common reasons people reach out
Anxiety, worry and panic
Grief and loss
Low self-esteem and self-criticism
Life transitions such as a new job, a move, a breakup or becoming a parent
Anger, burnout and emotional exhaustion
Wanting to understand yourself better and grow
Our approach
We draw on proven, evidence-based approaches and tailor them to you: your background, your values and your goals.
How we help
Person-Centred Therapy: a warm, accepting relationship where you lead and we listen.
Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT): practical tools to change unhelpful thoughts and habits.
Solution-Focused Brief Therapy: builds on your strengths to reach clear goals quickly.
Psychodynamic and insight-oriented work: explores how your past and relationships shape the way you feel and act today.
Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT): helps you live by your values, even when things are hard.
Narrative and strengths-based work: rewrites the stories you tell about yourself.
Therapy is a partnership, and you will always have a say in where we focus.
What to expect
Sessions usually last about an hour and can take place online or at our office. In the first session we get to know you and agree on what you would like to work on together.
